How to Design, Make and Use Custom Flags

Flags have been used for centuries for signaling or identification. It has been utilized in a lot of different ways such as to convey a message, to advertise something or simply to decorate. It is not clear how flags started or who started them. However, it was believed that flags were invented during the time of the Roman Legions when the symbol of a troop such as an eagle would be placed on a pole and be carried to the battle. A dark design on a dark background may not give favorable results while half tones may not bring out exact look from paper when printed onto the cloth. It is important to inform the maker the exact use of the flag, how and when it will be flown, the size of the flag, how often it will be used, and whether it is for outdoor or indoor use. Custom flag makers can give information as to what material is best adopted which is dependent on the type and use of the flag.
